The area upstairs in the Hamilton Hall is actually pretty big, and there's seating outside on the concorse... it's not dead on a Saturday, but most of the surrounding area is. Sam Smith's is an even cheaper chain with pubs that open in the city on Saturday, there's a nice one near Barbican station called the Rising Sun, several good pubs around the Smithfield / Farringdon area as well ... the problem is pubs in the West End and the rest on Central London are usually packed and noisy on Saturday night, which limits the options
I honestly think the Wargrave Arms is the right place for us, it's location is good...
